Im almost certian a " secret shopper" ( someone who walks the store acting like a customer- but is actually any employee, was following me around the store. I was collectiong coupons. I felt so badly that I ended up leaving even before I had finished what I had come to do.

So it was security in plain clothes?
I know who one of the security guys at SOF is bc he's not very covert..LoL
I Coupon Fairied at RCSS..carefully leaving coupons near products and yeah there was a guy who seemed to be following--maybe he was just looking for me to drop the right coupon or maybe we are becoming paranoid LOL

Secret shopper = evaluates the employees, reports back to a company to say how well the employees did.

Plainclothes security = follows people around pretending to be a customer.

That hasn't happened to me, but if it happens again just turn around and ask why they're following you. You're not doing anything wrong so there's nothing for them to do to you.

Hey, if you turn around and confront him, maybe he'll realise he's not being very covert and will learn to do his job properly next time, lol.

Don't feel bad about collecting coupons; you did nothing wrong as long as a product doesn't sneak into your purse with it, LOL. Worst comes to worst, they ask to check your bag and when they find nothing wrong, no biggy.

I would have no problem letting them check my purse.. But im not sure id be able to confront him about his non sneekiness haha!
