New Mattress and Boxspring from Sears
Last May when we moved to a new home, we bought a new king-sized bed. We purchased it from Sears and spent a considerable amount as both DH and I have sleeping issues. We were "sold" on a firm pillow-top.
Recently, DH started complaining of a sore back and saying that there was a "dip" in the bed.
We kept our old queen-sized as a bed for visitors and even though we had had it for over 10 years, it is still comfortable and firm.
Well, Sears has a 365 "Great Sleeps" guarantee. DH started on his quest.
We had to have purchased a particular mistress cover (which we had.)
We had to have purchased a particular box-spring ( which we had.)
And we had to book a visit with the "dip-analizer" who came and measured and took about 15 pictures ("with circles and arrows on the back" to quote "Alice's Restaurant")
He then sent in his report.
And TAH DAH! We had followed all the rules to qualify for a new bed.
We had already visited the store and were "Sold" this time on a firm Eurotop.
This morning 2 very efficient young men came and switched us out. (We even got help putting the bed-skirt on this time.)
Although it took jumping a few hoops, I'm very HAPPY with the result.
I am lying on it as I type this.
Mmmmmm comfy! And no "dips."
