I went to see my family Dr. today. Patients have to enter the office via an adjoining Pharma Plus. After my appointment, I decided to walk around the Pharma Plus. In one aisle, I picked up a bag of Godiva truffles with the cheesecake and strawberry crème filling that's on sale for $2.97,reg. $5.49. I then noticed another bag but it had candy cane filling, covered in dark chocolate. It was the last bag, no wonder, seeing that it was ONLY $0.97(reg. $5.49, so I ditched the other pkg.) It was factory sealed and expired Nov 2015.The cashier stated that she thinks there was a pricing error. I told her no because the clearance sign shows that price & the description on the sign was for that item....a little sweet cheap something to add to our V'day treats.

DH has a brown paper bag in the fridge. There is a note on it:
No touching
No peeking
No shaking
No examining
torontogal12 THIS MEANS YOU!
LOL.
Here's hoping for desserts! He has a way of putting things in places they shouldn't be though so I'm guessing it doesn't even need refrigeration hahahaApply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). DH and I are going out to dinner and a movie tonight. Looking forward to the evening out with him. He bought me a gold necklace for Valentines Day. I am not supposed to know but he leaves receipts in his pants pockets and I do the laundry, lol.

My husband and I are like some people here..we don't celebrate special occasions on the day because people tell us to..which drives my mother-in-law crazy..we do little things,or buy things when we want..I know not very romantic..that being said my husband did give me 2 dozen roses last night and I'm planning on making him a nice supper tonight!! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!

We are staying home tonight since we are going out with my parents and brother tomorrow night. I will be making one of DH's favourite desserts though (rice krispie squares - so easy).

So the fridge surprise was a fancy bottle of champagne and... a paper that says he donated a farmload of pigs, chickens and goats to a third world village!
