Hi guys, I just joined a few mins ago and happily stumbled upon this site while googling maple leaf coupons. Yup...I got the maple leaf email and used a couple of coupons and had one ripped up at safeway today. I had no idea! The woman told me they were not made by Maple Leaf, but reading on here I see that they were made by ML, they were just not supposed to be reproduced. If I may add my opinion on this hot topic.....as ML had the coupons out there in the public eye (or were downloadable in their financial statement), that they should honor those already accepted by the stores. It wasn't the stores fault that they were duped, and it wasn't our fault either. A good deal is hard to find and word of mouth spreads these kinds of things. They should alert all stores that they are a con, and that anything after the alert date would be up to the store to eat the cost of. (no pun intended! :razz:
