1st -
2nd - to change your profile, signature etc select the "UserCP" button (see 1st picture below). Then you will see a Control Panel and within there you will find the options to edit profile, signature, avatar etc. (see 2nd pic below). Your signature is the one that appears under your post, and you avatar is the picture that appears under your name.
3rd - candies are points that members can redeem for gift certificates but only if you joined the site before June 1st.

and a 1.5 year old pug named jonah (my fur son)
since the reduction in pay i have become a coupon/freebie addict
