I am new to smart canucks. I started couponing about 2 weeks ago and have already saved over $500, so I am excited to trade and join trains etc. I am a stay at home mom with 5 kids so saving money is not optional -- It is a necessity. This should be fun. Happy Savings.

Stacking is when you use more than 1 coupon for one item. The coupons ussually have to have a different UPC bar code number in order for the store to accept them. In my area the only store that I know of that allows this is London drugs. Here is an example of stacking. Head and shoulders was on sale for 3.99. I had a $2.50 off coupon and a $1 off coupon. At London drugs I could use both coupons for the same bottle of shampoo making the bottle just 49 cents.

Hi everyone!!! 3 weeks new to couponing and LOVE IT!! I am male (not sure how many of us are on here), my wife thinks I'm nutty for being so excited over coupons ....and so do I!!.....nutty......for SAVINGS!! LOL I feel like I've found a hole in the system when I get something for free....When I leave a store I am looking over my shoulder to make sure nobody is coming to arrest me...LOL "START THE CAR!!" Anyways, I need to lurk the forum more, there is a lot of great info here!
