Hello Everyone...I have been clipping coupons since my maternity started in January and I finally decided to join SC's. I could use all the help with these darn abreviations...please message me if you can help. Also, I want to start or join a coupon train...any help or an invitation would be greatly appreciated =)

Welcome! if you click on Coupons tab on the top menu bar, you'll see that the first section on the page is "Sub Forums" -- these are major discussion areas/threads on their own.

The next section has all the posts for the thread and has feature where some threads that start with the word "Sticky" -- that means they are always stick at the top even when they are no longer the newest post. Other posts file in reverse chronological order.

One of Sticky posts is abbreviations and acronyms.

Here's a direct link to the acronym page, but it's useful to know how to find it again.

In terms of trains, there is a separate sub-forum thread
- Click coupons tab
- Look at the first section and click<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td>

People post herewhen they 're starting a train and looking for riders. Some conductors will take newbies on the train, others will ask for a certain number of feedbacks to know if a new person is reliable and trustworthy. Trains do disappear from time to time so some conductors are cautious.

It's important as a rider to check out the reputation of the conductor too.

You can see their join date and on the left hand side of a post you'll see their Smart Canucks name and then a few stats/info under their name. The number of "feedbacks" is a number which is a hyperlink to the feedback page. You can also visit their public profile (this link option appears when you mouse over the name) and see what they have posted.
