Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing your updates with us, sharing your special journey and your special memories with us. Many Blessings your way :)
As of today, I am now 31wks pregnant.
I just had bloodwork taken for routine specialized tests for my hematologist because I have an appointment with him again next week. I weighed myself at the doctor's office today, I just stopped by without an appointment. I have gained 1.2lbs a week over the last 4wks since I was weighed last on that scale. I have gained 15lbs during this pregnancy and I am now 31wks pregnant with the twins.
I took tomorrow afternoon and Friday off from work in order to drive up to Saskatoon and do my appointments. I have an ultrasound at 8:30am on Friday. I will see my OBGYN later that morning. I am looking forward to finding out if both babies are now head down. I will also find out how much they weigh. I plan on posting here over the weekend with an update.
Thanks so much for the update Angela, I'm really looking forward to more updates.:preggers:
Exciting! thanks for keeping us updated Angela! :)
Looking forward to hearing about it :) :)
I have some really good news regarding the ultrasound that I had yesterday morning. Baby A (boy) turned head down in the last month! Now both babies are head down and I will likely be able to avoid a c-section.
Baby A - boy
weighs 4lbs
138 bpm
Baby B - girl
weighs 3lbs 12oz
135 bpm
At this point in the pregnancy each baby will gain about 1/2lb per week.
I saw my OBGYN a couple of hours later. She is very happy with me and the progress that the twins are making. My blood pressure has continued to be good (120/60). Her scale weighs about 1.5lbs less than my gp's scale. My belly measures 33-34cm sfh, which is good for twins at just over 31wks.
My OBGYN filled out the paperwork for me to go onto medical leave, which is a good thing. I have been in a considerable amount of pain for about 3wks now. I teach high school English on the second floor of a concrete building. I called my work on Friday to let them know that I am now on medical leave. I will go in for a little while on Monday morning to make sure everything is in order for the people who will be taking over my final exams. I already have all projects and marks entered online for my classes. Our school has common finals that are not content based, so it won't take too much for someone else to mark these exams.
So happy to hear you and the twins are doing well. :female::male:
Good news, now take it easy! :)
Awesome news on the twins!!! Now try and rest and relax, while you can :) Thanks for the update :)
It's so good of you to consider your students final marks and having things in order for the substitute teachers who follow you. Very professional and conscientious of you.:top:
Congrats on the boy- and girl-to-be. :occasion16:Thank you for the update.
Have a great rest. You will be able to read SC from morning to night, now.
