$15.38 I believe
no it's not unionized, i wish it was!!
one hours lunch is deducted, like most places .... get paid for 35 hrs work week.
so no math whiz can figure it out ??
The Correct answer is = Not enough to live in Canada!
Most places have half hour paid , and half hour unpaid break in a 8 hour shift/work day. ..this is non unionised work places I am talking about..so basically they get paid for 7.5 hrs every day.
Almost everyone I know who works 40 hrs a week are getting paid for 37.5 hrs, so looks like they are screwing you there as well..and they are actually taking a 1 hr break , everyday . Don't really know if this whole break time paid or unpaid is regulated or unregulated by provincial , federal or some industry, employment standards.
You might want to check the ESA - Employment Standard Act , not sure if that's federal or varies by province..& if it applies to you & your breaks :)
Probably 35/hrs per week so they don't have to provide benefits.
Yeah I know some retail stores who do that ..they make people work 5 days a week ..no option ..mandatory  ..and keep 7 hr shifts , so that they can call them PT workers & not FT & not give them dental , drug , eye care benefits :(
I don't even know if there is a cut off for the number of hrs worked per week to call it PT or FT , so not sure if this nonsense they are doing is legal or not.
god i'm so glad i work from home.. no mean bosses and I choose how much I earn/work each day..
i still make $100.00 month more
