Thanks for lifting SCers' spirits in the colder parts of Canada!
I am doing a watch for crocuses-usually around Mar.17 I see signs of bloom or the stalks. They were late last year. I cleared some snow around a flowerbed. Winter has a cold temperature hold on Southern Ontario still.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

No one in Ontario understands what I mean when I say I miss the wet coast and it's MILD winters... No one understands when I tell them that on the west coast we don't wear coats and boots, we are frolicking around in shoes and sweaters (with the mandatory mini umbrella thrown in your purse)
Just like when I was back home i could not comprehend at all how people can possibly survive in -10 weather with non-stop snow lol.

that looks about right for Victoria currently.. it's sorta been nicknamed the Florida of the north (mild climate, large selection of retiree's)
there's a bit of a Joke Victoria get's snow also... our's is just pink (all the cherry blossoms falling from the trees)
When life hands you Edward Cullen...throw him back and demand Eric Northman....

Love the even layout by the front of the home. I always get so jealous when I see landscaping done right. I live in a shared complex so I only have about a 15 x 12 area out the sliding windows that is fenced in.

Lol.Let me assure all of you that while Southern B.C. winters are gloriously mild and green,no one has hanging baskets full of summer annuals blooming gloriously right now,and the deciduous trees like Japanese maples are just budding.

Beautiful, just beautiful. My front yeard and the back yeard looks like Patty's picture. We haven't had room for snow since December and the weather is so, so cold this year. We had lots of -40, -44 ect. It is just CRAZY. So, wen I see picture like these one, I want to move were it is nice and warm. Maybe one day. Thank you for sharing those awesome pictures..........
