Is anyone else having a problem with SC today? I keep getting kicked off and can`t log in until I change my password.
Mrs. S. how very sad, your dad's friend will be greatly missed by everyone he touched
-so sorry mrs .sunshine about the loss of family friend
I love SC I need my daily fix , you're lucky you can stay away :lolsign:, I'm addicted in particular to this thread :)
You're absolutely right when you don't need anything don't even look at the flyers and definitely stay out of the stores to avoid temptation because we all know that 1 bag of milk easily turns into $30.00 :bebored:.
I find meal plans are wonderful and they help stay on budget :top:
Mrs. S: so sorry about the loss of a friend. It was shocking when my dad’s best friend passed away a few yrs ago. It certainly is reminder to take nothing for granted. Crochetady: I have not had to change my password but I have had to log in on my iPad about 5 times.
So my winter eat from the freezer/pantry worked. I have no pasta left after not having bought pasta in a year. I just cleaned the freezer out & I have bacon, English muffins and bagels & not much else. I foundroast for Sunday dinner & some ribs for tonight. I do havepack a steak, but the BBQ is covered in snow. I am going to try & rebuild without going over the budget for March. I need a good chicken sale as we have none at all & we only eat white meat.
great job @Lilo 003 on your pantry & freezer clean up and using up what you have on hand.
So sorry Mrs S.
I've spent the day enjoying some alone time watching movies knitting making pizza and cookies.
I did spend 85dollars at the grocery store.
Evening All,
I started my new meds 2 days ago :shock:and have been having issues sleeping but his am I woke up really early for me, well rested and full of energy :top:
Got a lot of things washed (kitchen floor, doors, windows, bathroom++++), vacuuming, dusting.
My parents came for a planned luncheon, I cooked a boneless roast pork in the crockpot and also made Tuscan chicken & pasta on the stove top. So I used a roast, a pack of chicken breast from the freezer, a packet of club house seasoning and a package of pasta, some cream from the freezer :).
Tomorrow we are having rib steak on the bbq with baked potatoes w/ sour cream and broccoli.
Going to plug away at my meal plan tomorrow and hopefully get some suggestions from the family .
Wishing everyone a great evening
thank you so much everyone. the next few days will be hard. were putting money in for flowers, got a card today. i think the day of will be the true test.
spent $200 today on groceries. YIKES, ALOT of food though, meat, pork, veggies you name it we pretty much got it plus some extras.
we actually used separate carts to allow for PM'ing separately at the tills. makes it so much easier.
only duplicated one item as we shopping alone. lol.
too tired tonite to do the baking/cooking i planned. may get a load of laundry done, some vacuuming.
tomorrow will be a family catch up day, it needs to be done.
tonite, im relaxing, crocheting, after some work is done.
have a great evening all.
Celebrated DD#2's third birthday today and served 20 family and friends dinner. Fun, chaotic and enjoying a quiet home after a busy day.
Last night I baked gluten free cupcakes and prepped gluten free chicken Alfredo. I have learned one pasta tray is enough for 25. I did two! Have not decided what to do with leftovers as it should probably be eaten as gluten free doesn't keep well like regular pasta. May freeze some.
