Good Thoughts and Prayers Requested

Monday my dh will undergo surgery to hopefully correct a "side-effect" of some surgery that he had a year ago. That surgery was performed in an emergency situation to correct a "side-effect" from the radiation he had to battle cancer 13 years ago. He is now on a clinical trial for a new cancer drug and is doing well on that front, but hopefully this new surgery won't introduce any "side-effects" to be dealt with.

We won't really know if this will be effective for about another 2 months after he heals from the surgery, but hopefully, the surgeon will find this to be a straight-forward challenge.

Thanks in advance! We will be leaving tomorrow so that weather doesn't get in our way. I'll be on and off the net when I can get to it.

Oh, Sweetheart, I just came on here to open a thread for your dear Hubby....You know you're both in my prayers always, but I'll send up a special one at 8am Monday morning.....we're both keeping him in our thoughts...Blessings to you both for a safe trip and give your hubby a big ol' bear hug from me!!

avon, just saw this, will most def keep your DH in my thoughts and prayers on his surgery day.

OMG Avon, so sorry for your DH to go through this again. I will for sure send positives thoughts and prayer for both of you as it is also hard on you. Monday morning at 8 I will pray for him. Be strong and keep in touch............................:-)
