Not sure how to sign up for their emails...do you have to go on the shoppers website and sign in through your optimum card?
That never works for me..they need to pay more attention to their website because it won't let me sign in, I have to go to create a password choose one option(DOB, postal code, or secret word) which I do! and it still tells me error..... -_-
Is there another way I can sign up for their emails..?

I had that same problem when I originally went to sign up for emails and they said it was because my card was registered before the optimum program was online. I had to call in and have it done on the phone, but yes you need to sign up for the emails through the optimum card on the shoppers website. Call them if it isn't working.

I saw the same content in my e-mail but don't have a phone/text plan. So no idea how much it might cost you for the text nor what the surprise is.

I did respond to the surprise text thing it and it was a scratch to reveal that they texted me. It was for 20x the points when you spend $50 on March 10.
