Ok, so i`ve been a lurker here for years and finally registered a few years ago but i havent got a clue how to leave reps to people. Can someone tell me how that`s done?

The little star at the bottom left of the person who posted....just above the " + reply to thread " green icon.

Hmmmmm, well ok but i still dont know what you are talking about.
SnowFlakey....look to the left of any post someone makes. Can you see there user name, their avatar...ok now below the hearts and stars that they have look below that too. There are 2 symbols that are OUTSIDE and below the actual members info box.
One on the left looks like a star kind of, the other is a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle.
Place your cursor over them each to read the words that will come up.
The triangle one says " report post " and the star one says " add to this user's reputation " ( reputation = rep )
When you are ready to give a rep click the rep symbol and a box will drop down for you to leave a comment that will be sent along with the rep to the member. Once you finish your comment hit the box that says " Add To Reputation " and then a grey slender box comes up in the middle of the screen that says " thanks for adding to the persons reputation, you may be lucky enough to receive the same.....
just click " ok " and you are done ! The rep is sent.
So a 2 step thing. click the star icon, leave a comment, click
