Hamilton website just has three fields to fill in if you want to be kept updated about the venue. So disappointing...
The Ancaster store location has two big openings in its brickwork (former entrance and about 2/3s west of that entrance), as seen yesterday while travelling by bus back from Lime Ridge Mall.
Sign in the greenspace by sidewalk indicates DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) will be opening in the fall and hiring is now on via website. http://www.dswcanadacareers.ca/
That explains the Town Shoe store closing sale (as DSW is connected to Town Shoes) in the Meadowlands.
New sign on former Target Ancaster property indicates it's owned and managed by Effort Trust. Three of the store signs are TJ Maxx entities: DSW, HomeSense and Marshalls (does that mean Ancaster gets its own store or the Upper James one will come here?). There was an empty fourth spot on Thursday night.
Today I noticed a blank white sign in the empty spot. Likely where we will see a future Winners sign-building has four storefronts (one has full glass installed, other three are in progress).
To those SC members who called correctly on the HomeSense & Marshalls store sites going to the former Target site, you are correct!
The Flying Squirrel location in Hamilton still does not have any exterior signage nor a mall sign as of Thursday.
