I had subscribed to their newsletter back in the fall when I heard that they did this every year. So glad I did! So some people may want to consider subscribing another family member or a coworker with a different email/mailing address to get i on it next time.

I received a code right away but was too busy to use it until now. SOOO glad that it was still available and not run out.

I'm sure TSC honors more than 5000 codes. They probably made a mistake not stopping people to use the code while placing the order when the counter hits 5000. Compare with Shop.ca, I think TSC has better customer support. You can contact them easily through email, online chat, phone and social media and they reply you back in short period of time.

I can't compare since I think the last time I bought from TSC was when they were brand new on the internet and I never had a reason to call them as all went smoothly.

But I have to stick up for SHOP.CA. I am not sure what bad history you encountered, but I have come out golden with their paypal/ebates/social media coupons at the end of last year. I gifted Chapters gcs, Petro Can gcs and a couple tablets for about 50% off. AND they always have free shipping! Not like Walmart who has finally changed taken that way or TSC where the shipping makes not much sense. LOL

I had an issue with their merchandise and delivery twice but never had a problem with the customer service when I contacted them!! They were quick to resolve the problem and easy to deal with.

Yep, it didn't work for me. It took off my first purchase, then after it made me pay for the second item. So I backed out & got a $49.99 item lol

Buyers beware. Most of the throw blankets and sheets I looked at were not washable & had poor reviews on quality. If some SC'er's wouldn't mind posting a review on their items or photo, it would be appreciated for anyone like me new to TSC.

I bought a comforter set at TSC and it was crap...I didn't bother return it bc of the ridiculous shipping charge that I have to pay.

I have had good luck with everything I've gotten through TSC - except one purse I got on clearance which was utt-bugly!

The comforter set I bought through them last year is amazing - got it using the last code they had, plus it was on clearance - it has bright coral and orange poppy blossoms on it. I swear it's the softest, coziest quilt we have ever used. The set had a quilt, shams, and bedskirt.

Imagine signing up 29 times only to have every order cancelled LMAO. Shop.ca was a new company and may not have figured out multiple signups right away. But TSC is ROGERS. They know exactly what they're doing haha.

I bought two comforter sets at TSC last year and it was crap too!

I returned one of them, TSC charged me $5 for the returning.

I still did not use the set that I kept, do not like it, very thin....
