Do broccoli rabes taste like kai-lan (or gai-lan)? Asking cause I have never had broccoli rabes but saw them used on TV quite often.
Broccoli rabes or as I know it Rapini is a much stronger flavour.
Quite bitter, but yummy. Best fried or grilled with garlic, olive oil and chili flakes.
If you like it softer you can blanch it first (takes away some of the bitterness too).
Or I like to fry as above and then add a splash of white wine cover and steam for a couple of minutes.

I use their Berber rub a lot, thought I would change it up.
Pretty good, but I like the Berber better, but will use the F&B on my next Beer Can Chicken.
