Thanks @walkonby . I'm really looking forward to garden fresh lettuce. It's pretty easy, add water and put in the pods. Feed every 2 weeks with liquid plant food and change water every 4 weeks. The lights go on automatically each day and run for 15 hours. Im going to try mixed greens next.
Here's the aerogarden website that shows various models and explains how they work. Canadian tire and Amazon.ca sell their products in Canada as well as other vendors. I purchased mine on sale for $120 (reg $200) from Amazon. It's a 6 pod

14 days since I started my aerogarden. It's so easy to use..the add plant food light was flashing today. What a simple way to garden.
I've picked up supplies for using my own seeds next time. I was surprised to find that aerogarden have a seed starter insert as well.
One more week or so until we try the romaine.

I am attempting and excited for growing this year! I did it years ago and just didn't really follow thru!!
Last year I grew hot peppers (And I don't even like them!!) and the one I grew in a pot was huge! I gave the peppers away and they said they were great and really hot!
So figure since WFH will have more time this year and will encourage me to keep at it!
I have my seeds/soil and pots ready! I picked up 1000 free pots last summer! Plus I have many that I have kept over the years. The best is the long trough style I got for free at the side of the road. I have read that they will work great for lettuce and I am hoping spinach.
I can't wait to start

very cool Frugalbigmama! I had fun with my outdoor containers/gardens last year but wasn't pleased with my spinach yield, it kept bolting way too quickly. I'm going to get a few seeds ordered soon. I want to try to grow some small cucumbers (bush type) for baby dills....I'm saving up my Catelli Mason jars
