Hi everyone it has been 2 years and 3 months since I have had my right breast removed. Well today was another first. Today i went to see a specialist I have developed arthritis in both hands. Today I had cortisone injection treatment for inflammation in both index fingers.
Everything else is fine, I have fluid on my left knee but that is all. I thought you all might like an update. God Bless you all. JoanneThis thread is currently associated with: N/ACoin Out:

I've got arthritis too, listen to your rheumatologist, and dont stop moving. I could barely lift my right arm because the pain in my shoulders were so bad, and walking up and down the stairs was almost impossible. But I kept moving even thought the pain was at times so much. After years of treatments (taking celebrex, tylenol 3's and for a period of time, methotrexate) I now only take a celebrex when I feel inflammation and I feel like myself again. I am trying to remember what the doctor told me, but it was something like calcium will form around your joints if you dont move them, resulting in loss in the use of that joint.
I hope your knee pain lessens - wishing you the best, and keep us updated. The average dog

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. My hands are swollen today, I guess from the cortisone shots. But other than that I feel pretty good, tired alot but that is normal.

Lynn, I am going to have to check the bottle, but I think that is what Lorie bought me a bottle of Bioperine for the nerve pain in my foot, Suppose to take with magnesium (one) once a day... Going to check to make sure that is what it is, and if it is, had done a great job on my foot pain...

I'm so happy to hear that you found some relief from the tumeric, @Redneck Charger . I'm hoping it helps the bursitis in my hips...oiy...getting old sure isn't for sissies! I also take magnesium every day.
