Whew! I hardly ever go to SDM as most of the offers want me to spend too much ( $30.00, $50.00, $75.00 etc )

so nice to see sdm haters going to sdm. lol. you made a smart move buying sale price items to get bonus points. keep it up walkonby. you know i always wanted you to be an sdm+optimum points lover.

    .

    Lucky you @walkonby .
Today I used the same coupon code as you and Bugaboo9601, which was ID 16632 , 3000 pts wus $10 food or snacks and did not get any points. I bought 2 bags of milk $7.94 and 1 carton of eggs @$2.29, total of $10.23. I checked and the coupon was loaded but not redeemed and did not show up on the receipt.
Come on Shoppers, be consistent. It is frustrating when milk sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

    Exactly.
This is the second time milk did not count for me. The other time it was 8000 points wus $30 on food or snacks.
Other times I had no problems getting the points when I purchased milk. The frustrating part is also that when I called Shoppers to ask why I did not get the points, I was told by the csr that milk does not count because it is a beverage. So why does it count sometimes and sometimes it does not? If milk does not count because it is a beverage then why are people getting the points when they buy chocolate milk or pop? Obviously Shoppers Drug Mart is not being consistent otherwise why would we have this thread or discussion.

These won't combine - so if I wanted to use both I would do a $10 food and snacks shop, and then do a separate $10 candy and snacks shop. (Doing it the other way around might cancel out the food and snacks coupon, unless you unload it first)

    These are awesome coupons!

So does pop fall into any of these categories? Has anyone used the food and snack offer and gotten points for pop?

Technically...it's not. More of a drink. You can't say "eat your milk", it sounds silly.

It counts because in SDMs system they have it has a food item not beverage.

What gave you that idea from what I posted? I think you need to ignore what a person might be saying and try not to read too much into my posts. I find you have been following my posts trying to instigate a response

I gave an example of a hypothetical sentence, and if anything was talking to myself about the "silly" comment. Try to just read things on here as they appear vice dissecting it making assumptions.

I am the easiest going, blunt, friendliest person you will ever want to meet.

This is unnecessary. Can we please maintain dignified conversation without belittling?
