Last night we had to take him to the vet. because his condition worsened. Unfortunately he also had a mass in his stomach so we had no choice put to put him down.It was one of the most difficult moments in my life.Kitty was a constant companion for me,he was more than just a cat.
The house and my heart seem so empty. This thread is currently associated with: N/AAlways remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

oh Skippy, we knew this day might come. I know how happy I was for you when Kitty had found some spark to hang on despite his condition and prognosis and actually seemed to thrive for a while. I am heartbroken for you and your family, I know I'll be devastated when that day comes for us here with our fur babies. My deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I've lost two and almost lost a third last year. The only thing that would fill the empty space in my heart was to grieve for a time and get another kitty when I was ready.

Oh, Skippy, how sad for you and your family. We've all lost dear fur-kids before so we know how your heart must hurt. Is this the first pet you've lost? All wounds heal in time, Hon, and so will yours; in time you'll remember kitty with a smile, knowing you'll see her again one day. I know you're not at all ready to contemplate another kitty now, but is that something you may consider in the future?
Again, so terribly sorry for your loss....

So sorry for your loss It is one of those things that pet parents have to go through since they don't live as long as us. We don't get to have them as long as we want, but the years we do get are so special.
I do hope you adopt a kitten from the spca or other rescue organization. There are just so many unwanted pets that need good homes. A new pet cannot replace your lost loved one, but they bring such joy and love to a person's life that only a pet parent can understand. We give to them physically and they give to us mentally and emotionally.

Skippy, I'm so sorry to hear of Kitty's passing. I had some hope a few months ago when she seemed to be doing better. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

AWWW Skippy. I'm so so sorry to hear about Kitty. I don't have any flowery words except to say that sucks. I know right now it seems hard to even think of it but consider adopting another as soon as you can. It's impossible to wallow in grief when you have another giving you uncondional love and playful antics. I know.

I'm so sorry to hear this, Skippy. My 2 guys and 1 gal never fail to make me laugh every day...and that's worth everything. I hope you recover and welcome another lil love into your home.
