I was in RCSS today and a guy was in line without groceries, until his wife came along with a full cart of groceries. He was just holding a place in line; not very fair to the people behind him who thought they were getting in a short line. Last week in Walmart two women actually ran so they could get ahead of me in a checkout line which seemed rude as well.
Has anyone else experienced checkout line rudeness? This thread is currently associated with: Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Walmart

Yes. I try to ignore them. Or shop when it's not busy. And complete shopping before holiday rush.
A while ago, entering Costco, a guy was trying to exit at the "In" door. We both had carts. He actually said to me, Move over and let me pass. I was going in the correct door, but he wanted me to move for him. After dude left, the cart guy noticed it all and said, Just ignore him. I see that kind of rudeness all day. I said to the cart guy, I nominate that man for Man of the Year.

It happens all the time. Don't let it get to you (but it is fun to tell stories)
We were in a line when a dude in another line proceeded to yell at us. He said my mom had cut in line (remember, he was in a different line, so who knows why he cared). Me and my dad had been in line for like 15 minutes already (Walmart, so lineups are brutal). The man told us that we need to get to the back of the line because mom just arrived.
So folks the lesson learned here is, you're not allowed to go to the bathroom, or get a prescription, or buy a lottery ticket while the rest of your family stands in line.Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

I hate the creepers who sidle right up next to you when you're standing in front of the cashier.

Not that way; once someone tried doing it couple of months ago, and I gave away my uggliest look ever, while creeping him. It always works for me.
For the second type: I would just roll my eyes and shake my head and go to another cashier! But seriously don't let other get and just ignore!
Gee I am grumpy today again!Last edited by Arvilish; Sun, Jun 7th, 2015 at 08:35 PM.

Totally Linda Evans! I also get annoyed with the group of people that insist on walking side by side, blocking across the entire aisle. I feel like playing Red Rover and blasting though the middle, lol.
Btw, I know I posted this in the rant section, but I wasn't mad at the line holder or the run & cutters. More just annoyed like when a fly buzzes around my face. I can't be bothered to get mad at little things; I don't like being in a bad mood and it takes too much energy

^true you shouldn't let the buggers get you down. seen and heard it all in checkout lines. I had someone in line behind me commenting on the health choices of my purchases and I finally had it and told her it wasn't her concern.
