To the SC dads, wishing you a very Happy Father's Day!
For those of you who are still lucky enough to have your fathers in your lives, I hope you are in touch with them and spend time with them if you are able to.

I was super lucky to have a wonderful Dad - but unfortunately he passed away when I was 26 - he was a very young 66.
He was serious a lot of the time, but when he wasn't, he was quite the guy!

holy shoot natalka, can almost hear your dad's terrific laugh,
so awful him and walkonby's were taken away too soon.
mine still here, and not sure why but he and her going to visit her
daughter today - one of dad's son's going to be away, other not heard from,
and although jane (gf daughter - said i should come anytime, got no
invite of going from dad's gf and saw them yesterday)
dad is going to be 90 soon, and has damn alzheimer's, he still remembers us,
and likely will wonder where his kids are, for a sec or so, and maybe more.
sad how a family falls apart,,.
shutting up and wishing people who's father is now somewhere else,
a happy day to remember,
he was here for a while, likely never long enough though.
and those who still have their's - lucky us eh?

Happy Father`s Day to all the dads, granddads and soon to be dads, stepdads, etc. My dad was 86 when he passed away and had early onset alzheimers. In a way it was a blessing that he died before his mind completely went. My dad lost his wife and 5 children in Europe during the war, can you imagine the heartache? Then he married my mom and they had me and came to Canada. He was a strong man in body and spirit, a man who loved and cherished his family. I miss you Tato.
