yes, I also saw that offer and WAS tempted. So right after midnight ( last night ) I watched what I thought was the last episode ( #7 ) of Lessons In Chemistry.
Broken hearted at the end because turns out #8 is the finale, which airs on Nov. 22nd. I at least got to watch the first 2 episodes of a series that Kurt Russell and his son
Wyatt are in together. ( Godzilla related...lol ) . They play the same character, years apart so no scenes together.
Also enjoyed a couple of episodes of For All Mankind.
I just have to let Apple+ go gracefully....ha ha
for those that have cable....hollywood suite channels are free until jan 5. some good movies. im with cogeco so channels 875-872.
a couple of awful ( I am so embarrassed that DH and I laughed our heads off at these ) Netflix shows. One called Loudermilk and it isn't even new?
It ran for 3 seasons that ended in 2020
The other one was a movie called Strays. I hope no parents took their kids to Strays thinking it was for kids. The language alone was spicy.
The actors voicing the dogs were perfectly cast!
Is anyone familiar with the tv show A Million Little Things? Well you'd be stunned by the main character in Loudermilk...it's Ron Livingston who played the very polite father in A.M.L.T. OMG, what a switch of roles. As I said the series is raunchy but so f-ing funny!!
(Netflix) on episode 3 of "Behind her eyes"..... i hope it picks up, its all over the place.
@Linda Evans I've not watched any of the episodes ( never even heard of this series ) BUT I just read a spoiler about the ending
( I won't post what occurs ) . Just to warn you the online review/comments say it was the stupidest ending of all.
Now I really want to go watch it just to see if it's that bad. ha ha Hope you get to finish it too.
Anyone have any suggestions for TV shows for families with teens? Looking for something we will all enjoy and preferably something we don't have to wait for weekly episodes.
We've watched Once Upon a Time, The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, Superstore, Percy Jackson, and Sulphur Springs.
TIA
@bargain_hunter_lola I really enjoyed a series called The Winter King. It's a bit of a different take on the story of King Arthur. Aired in 2023, 10 episodes.
If you or the teens ever watched the Agents Of Shield series, where Iain De Caestecker was the adorable Leo Fritz. ( he's not as adorable as Arthur in this....lol )
finished it last night & was NOT happy with the ending...*sheesh*
aww, @Linda Evans I thought you'd be disappointed. Good thing there's always a new show to erase that memory!
Watched Mr and Mrs Smith on Prime...Loved episode 1 (unpredictable which was nice). Episode 2 was a little far fetched and silly...giving it one more try.
Just started the series Culprits. ( 2023) . So far 3 episodes in confident I'll continue with it.
Against my normal instincts I did watch ( binge ) all 8 episodes of A Killer Paradox on Netflix. It was rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes so that intrigued me.
Not bad actually, even though the frequent subtitles were flashed up on the screen way to fast to read them in time?? ( had to pause to freeze to read many of them )
Also watched Taylor Tomlinson's newest Netflix Comedy Special. Meh? she's grown on me now as I seem to enjoy her show After Midnight weekdays.
Great series on Disney+ atm. FEUD ( 2017 - 2024 )
I've only started the 8 episodes from 2017. Accurate and impressive portrayals of the great dames in Hollywood from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's! ( and many have acted beyond that ) In particular, Susan Sarandon as Betty Davis and Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford. Delicious series!
