love me some Mindy Kailing!! she was on a couple of talk shows yesterday ( The Talk and James Corden's late Late Show ) cannot wait to see her in A Wrinkle In Time and Ocean's Eight ( both in 2018 ) plus her final season of The Mindy Project started on Hulu last night, ( American streaming right? ) pfft, so I can't get that then, but I am sure it will be somewhere eventually to view.
Just love her!!

recorded the Emmy's from last night. Some highlights and my perfectly " normal " reaction to them.
cried at Anne Dowd's face (shock ) as she won for Handmaids Tale, then her speech came and I was just as emotional.
So thrilled that these people were winners!!
-Aziz Ansari/Lena Waithe for writing ( Masters of None )
-Donald Glover for both acting and directing ( Atlanta )
-Riz Ahmed for acting ( The Night Of )
I did enjoy Nicole Kidman's speech, nearly 3 minutes with NO orchestra playing her out ( she won for Big Little Lies ), however when Sterling K Brown won for This Is Us, he got the loud music cutting him off at just under the 2 minute mark??
, what a guy, tried to keep his sense of humour throughout.
Then his mic was cut but he had not gotten to thanking his wife yet.
When he was offered the chance to finish his speech backstage he graciously accepted.

I loved seeing Margaret Atwood on stage when Handmaid's Tale won.
Colbert was a good host, he and Jimmy Kimmel did a gag bit about John Oliver winning over them.
Awkward moment when Cicely Tyson could not see the words on the teleprompter, but so gracious of her co-presenter to whisper the words to her in her ear.
All in all I enjoyed it, especially since I can skip all the ads!

Last night we watched the Wolverines vs the Spartans - college football, Michigan teams.
Currently watching reruns of MASH. One of the best ways I can think of to have the tv to
myself. Makes the family scatter when I put on MASH.
