Kidsteph, I love the bath bombs and jarred recipe gifts! Really nice!
^^ ^^ yes very economical to make and I can use my lavender for the bath bombs...and rose petals too. My goal is to grind my own wheat for the bread mixes now that I am mastering the Vitamix. But I think trying to grow the wheat is a bit over the top!
It's cold and icy in Dec but my plants are still alive. I added some fake Xmas ones to the pots to be festive.Attachment 324545
Impressive!
Is it too early to start my garden planning?
On a positive note my pond is filling up. Long standing project that was finally completed in the fall. Liner and armour stones installed and a waterfall and sandy beach to be added in the spring.
Pond is 45 x 35 feet.
I just got a planting reminder for onions. Oh boy spring is near!!!

Me to!
Yikes! My fruit trees and blueberry bushes have budded. Hopefully it won't affect my harvest this year too much. Garlic continues to poke thru the patch.
Can't wait to start planting again.
Just bought some quality potting containers (really deep). I had mixed results with Dollarama peat pots and potting soil last year so trying something different this year.
Last year I started over 12 types of heirloom tomato seedlings (black, white, blue tomatoes) as well as unique cucumbers, beans, etc.
I plan to start indoor seedlings in early April. Anxious to start!

I am wondering about taking on some kind of "outside" project to commemorate Canada's 150th. Anyone have any balcony ideas?
