I harvested 10 gorgeous celery plants yesterday. They were getting really big and I did not want them woody, so I decided it was time. I ended up with 12 bags of celery leaves (each bag is very generous and will give about 4-5 meals) and several cups of cut up stalk. All went to the freezer for my winter cooking!
Sorry I don't have pics, but the plants were about two feet tall, some maybe a little bigger and at the peek of perfection.
I still have 9 celery plants in a container that I will leave to grow for a bit, as they are only about 18" so far.

More random photos. I'm pretty disappointed with my harvest but I have more than enough to eat and to give away. Too much rain and not enough Sun. I harvested lavender and garlic.

More random photos. Peaches and coobler; plums and I have 2 trees full of them and lots of beans.
It was a poor year. I got about half of the amount of raspberries that I got last year. Too little Sun.
My neighbour's will get to pick the fruits and veggies for the next month since I am leaving for southern Europe. I will miss my garden but not this crappy weather. I hear it is 30+ in Madrid!

Lovely colours in both your flowers and produce, @kidsteph ! I'm sure you will be following the produce action in Madrid.

Got back after 23 days away from Madrid to Venice with 6 stops in between.
Picked these and I will be busy catching up on the weekend. Sadly I only had a few plums as they ripened while I was gone. My neighbours and a few friends dropped by and picked the produce so little was wasted.
Gardening can only get better next year!

Random October photos. I still haven't planted my garlic yet. Yikes it is likely too late unless we have a thaw on a weekend so i have light bu which to see when I dig.
Last photo is lavender which took me hours to clean. Now to start making bath bombs.
