Everything looks fantastic, Anna! I am in awe of how neat (weed-free) your raspberry patch is. We have been so busy, and dealing with health issues, that ours looks like a hayfield!

Hi fellow gardeners! This year got off to a rainy cold start here in Durham region. Then too dry. And I was gone several weekends and did not water the berries. However things are coming along. I got 110 cups of strawberries and just started picking the raspberries.

Shown is raised garden beds, garlic with scapes picked 10 days ago, strawberries pick 3 weeks ago and my deck lettuce raised beds.

I'm not sure what's up, but I can't get my pictures to post right-side up!

Anyway, this is a dwarf tomato variety I'm trying this year, Coastal Orange Pride...

There are a few more pictures in the "Home and Garden" section (I am never sure where to post - different members post in each thread! ).

I have not done it this year but I have tried in the past. It has not worked out well for me LOL. I tried tomatoes and I ended up with sprouts but I could not get them to a small plant stage.

Before COVID I bought a bag of Canna Lily bulbs at Costco and I have been thinking about trying to pot a couple in the house just for something to do. I have done Paperwhites for Christmas many times so I am a little more comfortable with the concept.

Have not started seeds indoors. Not enough table space in sunniest room to keep the seeds going.

This is where I have had trouble too.
I think there is quite a bit of skill to getting seedlings to be small plants.
Another thing I learned about this year is the hardening off process and I think if I were to do seeds indoors again I would harden them off before planting outside.
It is basically a way to gradually get them used to the outside rather than just putting them out and hoping they survive

@Paapu you have totally inspired me! I decided to try and start up some morning glories from seed. Fingers crossed I get them to at least sprout LOL
