Any cucumber growers out there that can tell my why my plant isn't fruiting? The flowers are there, the pollinators are there, the fertilizer is there, the consistent watering is there and so is the sunshine. The plant is massive, growing up a trellis. But no fruit. Sorry to hijack the thread like this, but what better place to ask than here

We have been having a repeat of last summer's cool, wet weather. Uhg. Hopefully, once this latest rainfall warning has played out, the remainder of July and August will be warm and sunny. A warm September to make up for the cool, cloudy June we had would be wonderful, too!
Hmm...I'm not sure what could be causing the lack of cucumbers on otherwise thriving plants, @GoJays ! I will ask around and if I find out anything from my friends who are gardeners, I will let you know.Last edited by TrueNorthTreasures; Thu, Jul 16th, 2020 at 11:01 AM.

Most likely what u r seeing on your cucumber plant is the male flowers which pollinate the female flowers with the fruit. The male flowers appear before the female flowers so your plant is probably getting ready to produce fruit
