Right now, my pick would be Chapman's super premium ice cream at $3.99. When No Frills had this price a few weeks ago, my store was out of stock on one of the flavors I wanted to try, so I still have the $3 coupon that I was going to use then. I couldn't bring myself to use it when RCSS had it at $4.49. That was just me being silly-frugal because I can wait since the coupon has a long expiry date.

Depending on what we consider recent...
One deal I LOVED was the $1.00/1kg NN Peanut Butter at No Frills (But that was some time ago). More recently, I got NN Peanut Butter at Zehrs, I think they were $2.99 EACH + 3000Pts WUB2 + 10% Staff, so pretty close, but NOTHING will come close to that $1/kg again...
I know there are plenty more that others will mention, and there are plenty that still stick out in my head too...

I miss my 2600 points for pc whole bean coffee. Wait till it went on sale at Loblaws for $10.99 with 2,000 points so$6.39 each compared to $16.99+ these days. Course it used to to go on sale for $6.99 but not lately.

It wasn't so recent and I strongly doubt we'll ever see it again, but I really, really miss the $2 Pillers cold cuts that No Frills used to offer, which were $1 after coupons.

Another deal I miss is $2 Cavendish and/or NcCains fries / hashbrowns minus the $2 coupons they used to offer. We never ate a lot of them, almost certainly less than a bag a month on average, but they did come in handy at times, and at one point I went over two years without paying for any. Somehow $2.49 with a $1 coupon just doesn't cut it since fresh-made air fryer fries don't take all that much more time.

Start clearing shelf space for Campbells 284mL soup. Usually, RCSS has their annual $0.50/can sale starting in the first couple of months of the year. I bought 10x cases last year.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.
