Thread: WM Juicer Deal
-
Sat, Jun 27th, 2015, 05:02 PM #1
DH has wanted a juicer for some time, this week WM has a juicer in the flyer for $70 with a $20GC. The one on the shelf was priced at $129, so we didn't think it could be the one, but we found an endcap with some boxes on (took a picture of them with the $70 price clearly on display just in case...). Sure enough... We just made our first juice with it and it was delicious! I've baked the pulp into a (gluten free) cake which is smelling pretty delicious. Very happy with our purchase. Thought I'd sure in case anyone else was looking for a juicey deal!

nice going ! What brand of juicer did you buy? I use the Breville Fountain that I bought about 2 years ago and it was quite a bit steeper than $70.00.

Yes I'd love to know which brand it was as well, I've been wanting a juicer for awhile, but can't find a good deal on a good one and can't justify the expensive ones.

Thanks everyone, its a Jack LaLanne's. The flyer said Power Juicer, this box says Fusion Juicer, hence I didn't think it was going to ring up at the right price. I hadn't heard of the brand before, but at that price I figured it was worth a risk. It worked great! The pulp was really dry, which means it got loads of juice out, and the juice tasted delicious! I've been really nervous since that Bounty ad years ago where the couple buy a 'cheap' juicer which spills lots of juice on the counter so that they need Bounty to clean up. Thanks to Smart Canucks, I have plenty paper towel, which thankfully I didn't need yesterday!

Jack Lalanne.......he's passed away in 2011 at 97 ........
I just pulled out my juicer again....I had bought a 'Big Boss' from Amazon awhile ago at a really good price. I've been doing a lot of reading up on raw foods, juicing, etc. Watched Joe Cross's video, reading his book....I just finished a book called Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko...written about 10 years ago but still good info....I just got a Big Boss 'blender'...much like the Bullet on Friday at SDM on redemption I wanted to get the fibre of the fruits/veggies that I was missing by juicing and my Cuisinart blender wasn't liquifying the greens enough to make them drinkable, so I am hoping the Big Boss blender will do the trick.

I have a Jack Lalanne juicer too! Good to know yours is getting a workout.
Ours has been sitting in the back of the cupboard for some time now..maybe we should use it again.
We have a Magic Bullet for smoothies and a little automatic citrus juicer, both super easy to clean!
