I LOVE Paula Deen. I watch her every chance I get, maybe 3x a week. But some of her food is pretty out there. I was checking out her site when I noticed people posting her fattening recipes everywhere. I also have seen her fry fruit and vegetables, and add butter to just about everything, even lollipops (a whole stick!). But these?...Yikes!
Fried BUTTER Balls.

and just in case you don't find that a tad fattening just reading it....
THE LADY'S BRUNCH BURGER! (made with 2 doughnuts, bacon, egg and more!)

Eew. Eew. Eew.
So much fat. Thanks. I am overweight as it is. lolRemember that even though pets are here for such a short time they teach us things we would never be able to learn in many lifetimes on our own.

I like watching Paula Deen, but I think she should stop the tasting of her food. It gets a tad disgusting. Surprised she would be on food network with her All Butter recipes

I wonder if she uses these recipes at her restaurant?

No deep fried snickers bars on the menu but you never know what kinds of fats are hidden in the food.
It's all in the technique.

the deep fried macaroni looks pretty darn good, although id probably just use vegetable although peanut oil is a premium oil I find I can taste the peanut in it.
I swear if butter tasted better alone id eat sticks of it as a treat... I wonder if Paula does hehehe.

Well, that's one way to kill someone - but I'm sure they'd die happy. Man, that's way too much artery clogging action for me.

The recipes are all pretty cringeworthy, but to me The Lady's Brunch Burger is really over the top.
This suddenly reminded me of a episode of The Simpsons:
We take eighteen ounces of sizzling ground beef, and soak it in rich,
creamery butter, then we top it off with bacon, ham, and a fried egg.
We call it the Good Morning Burger.
-- Homer watches a television advertisement, ``Bart's Friend Falls in Love''
</pre>Funny thing is, The Simpsons left out the doughnuts in their recipe. Ironic because that would be SO typical of Homer.....
mmmmmmmm......doughnuts.

yeah, I couldn't help but think of when homer was on the diet to gain weight. Homer "Butter up that bacon, bacon up that sausage." Bart "But dad..." Homer "Do it!"
