Need to do this as well. This year has been brutal for us...

I had to do this too. I bought a little fabric storage box from the dollar store and use recipe cards to label/divide the coupons. This way I file them as I want and make my own labels. So far so good. (but I do have a pile of inserts I should cut and file tonight!
I did 2 huge loads of laundry yesterday afternoon and hung it all to dry (on hangers) on my huge rack in my dining room. I knew it wouldn't dry outside so I did it this way and all should be dry and able to put away tomorrow evening. Just happy I didn't use the dryer.
Oh and we made a nice dinner last night (chicken breast, rice, Greek salad and bread) I made sure to double the rice and cook extra chicken breast for tonight! So all I have to do is steam some green beans and dinner is ready!
We are eating leftovers for lunch. I often do this throughout the week.
Huskey Rewards sent me an email offer with $5 in points added to my account that would be valid until Oct 31. I received this offer because it had been over a month since I had fueled up there. I got $20 in gas - $15 in points - $0.25 in Caddle rebate. Nice deal on the fuel for my van.
Unpacked another "misc." box and found some stocking stuffers to add to my Christmas box.
I got $9 back from WM from the mistakes on yesterday's receipt.
Sobeys
I redeemed $90 in Air Miles towards a $100 Sobeys gift card. I purchased four 4L jugs of Lucerne milk, which earned me 115 Air Miles. I also bought an Old El Paso taco kit as my 50% off offer that was about to expire. I also bought a tub of margarine for dh's toast. I spent $21.xx and earned 117AM = $12.32 towards future purchases. Of course I used the nearly free gift card to buy these few items.
Haven't turned on the furnace. House in the mornings can be 63 degrees. My hot flash body loves it and it is great for sleeping. Dh jokes to my mom that if I am good he will turn the heat for Christmas! Lol
I returned some light bulbs as I found a significantly cheaper deal at Canadian tire. All my bulbs are now energy efficient.
I cashed in most of my AM's for $270.00 worth of GC's and I still have enough for another $20.00.
i did a load of blankets and towels I put them out side to dry and then hung them in the basement when it started to rain. They were out long enough to smell nice with the cool breeze. I gathered up beer cans and took them to the beer store and got $10.00 I also made cookies.
Yesterday I picked up a medium sized garbage bag full of random free toys from a lady on a local garage sale Facebook page. It took a little work to sort through it, toss 1/4 of the stuff that was broken, and determine what was appropriate to keep for our young children. The icing on the cake was a large working Optimus Prime remote control that just required new batteries. Our son is THRILLED.
Saw some nice flannel sheets for sale online and put them in my cart and then went to checkout and then closed the page. I need to wait awhile.
I did not go inside a store and made sure to take a walk in the afternoon (to get out of the house).
Enjoyed the setting sun and the colourful leaves!
I'm on a quest to use up as much Minute Rice from a 3kg box as I can. Have used up about 1kg-I add the rice to soup or
add ginger lemon slices to rice-by now. Want the pantry space for other groceries. I did not buy said rice. . .
