I've been baking every time I use the oven it serves 3 purposes
    1. healthier lunch snacks (muffins, cookies and squares)
    2. not buying as much lunch snacks for 3 people 1 day which are expensive (5 per box @$1.99 on sale) which is = 3-6 snacks per day
    3. reduces the 20 minutes of waiting the oven to warm up as it's already at the right temp from previous cooking etc.

I hang my laundry to dry, we heat with wood only all winter and the clothes dries in no time as dh build me a drying rack which hangs over the woodstove

We use re-usable containers for lunch snacks, I have some that fit the homemade muffins perfectly and other for crackers etc.

I put all my leftovers in glass anchor hawking containers I have 4 different sizes
I hear you about the hollow leg teen. Every time we have meatloaf Monday (last night lol) we laugh how we have to hide the leftovers for our next day lunches. Last year we had meatloaf Monday and it is always amazing. Made up Tupperware for both our work lunches. My honey woke up to go to work and both lunches were gone. DS ate BOTH after we went to bed. He said they were amazing lol

I got frustrated yesterday as I received a phone call yesterday as the gas/convection stove that I ordered and paid for on February 28th was not going to be delivered this Friday as promised especially since I had arranged to have a gas line hooked up the same day.

I called around, got exactly the same stove for $77.51 cheaper and delivered today so everything is back on schedule. I cancelled my first order and am very happy. Good riddance to ceramic cook top.

Took adavantage of Mcd's $0.67 hamburgers. Instead of paying $25 for the 3 of us for lunch it was only $11.30. We got 2 hamburgers, a cheeseburger, 3 small fries and 3 $1 drinks.

I harvested more vegetables from my back yard garden. I have been selling the extra produce on our local garage sale Facebook pages and have earned $64 so far this summer.

Today I also made home made soup for lunch and I'll cook supper soon with potatoes from my garden, deer roast free from my dad, fresh peas from the garden, and coleslaw on sale.

Today we wanted to do some shopping at Salvation Army and soon discovered a $1 sale, which they hadn't advertised on Facebook.
1 item for me, 1 rain coat for twin girl, 8 t-shirts for our big boy, 1 light jacket for our big boy, 1 cardboard book containing 5 puzzles = $11.50

    No Frills $31.10 + 2,700pts - 75c in rebates

Sobeys $0.45 oop after a 99c coupon, rain check, buy 3 Kellogg's cereals get 4L jug milk free $5.19, and redeeming $40 in Air Miles.

Compiling a shopping list of items at four stores I wanted to visit. That list for Sobeys really saved me as when I saw the price of items that I had personal Air Miles offers for, I really struggled whether to buy them or not. Not. I did not go too far past $40 and was able to get the store brand veggie burgers Buy 2 get 1 free and a bison steak (seems bison is in stock again after an absence) along with some other groceries.

I sold a kids toy for $5 today. I also took our son to a free slip 'n slide, water party. I made sure that we came home to eat supper.

I have a surplus of small ripe garden tomatoes, but I've been unsuccessful in selling them fast enough. I plan on turning them into tomato sauce for the freezer.
