I sold $31 in baby boy clothes today.
I cooked all 3 of our meals at home for our family of 5. I also baked a 9x13” pan of my healthier monster cookie squares.
I hand sewed a few items of clothing during our children's afternoon nap.
Yesterday I SCOPed 2 pork loins at WM, so they cost me less than $3 each and saved me $20 in meat.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Oct 23rd, 2017 at 12:34 AM.

I sold $8 in baby clothes that we don’t need for our son.
I used $60.71 in coupons and $30 in Air Miles while shopping at Sobeys. I also continue to use the CO51 app and got $1.60 back from my purchases at Sobeys.
Dh finally took our recyclables to SARCAN and got $57 for them.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Finally finished refitting the drapes, from the old house that were 'closeted' for 6 years, to hang in the basement of the new house, while we save $$$$ up for the renos. Did the laundry today instead of yesterday and got to use the retrofitted 'heat saver' that DH installed on the dryer pipe (lets me flip the vent to blow the exhaust air that usually goes outside back into the basement). Not sure if it warms the house up - but sure makes the basement cosy while I am sewing the drapes . Also used $20 of my PC points yesterday.

We have not yet turned on the furnace or the gas fireplace. House is still cozy @22 degrees. The new insulation is paying off.

I don't do it to save money, but I bake bread, usually 1-2 loaves per week. I mostly make variations on no-knead, which replaces the physical effort of kneading with a process that takes time but that doesn't require any attention while it's happening. Accordingly, it's pretty easy to get a tasty, artisan-style crusty loaf that isn't full of dough conditioners and multi-syllabic ingredients only a food scientist could love for well under $1 in ingredient cost.

It was Friday but when I turned in my rental car I took photos if the time fuel gauge and mileage. It was full. Dropped the key in the return box and left
Glad I did because I could fight them trying to charge me an extra 15.40 for gas as they tried to say it was 3/4of a tank. As soon as I sent pictures they backtracked and refunded me.
