DH brought me home another Stouffer pin on Friday, received another uncanceled stamp in the mail and I also picked up my free Minion cookies.

I received a $30.00 prepaid Visa card today for doing a 5 minute survey for OLG so I went and bought a $25.00 GC to Tim Horton's for my flyer delivery person for Christmas. I also added another $5.00 to my parent's card that is for Christmas also.

Today I used 10 coupons, 3 different rebate apps, SCOPed a bag of Whiskas, sold $6 of unneeded baby clothes, and we ate all of our meals at home.

I picked up an Air Wick "Canadian Parks" triple refill as part of my $50 purchase to qualify for 20X points. Then I actually filled it in and it's set to be mailed.

by some miracle, found some pink stickered prepared meals at Superstore on the weekend. Some premade salads, and a hummus/nuts/cracker tray

Bought those to bring to work for lunch. Haven't had time to cook the last two weeks so had to buy $10 lunches every day that were starting to take a toll on both my wallet and my stomach.
Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

Today's lunch was free and only 4 blocks away from our house. We went to a BBQ for hotdogs and hamburgers at the park. It was being held by CUPE.

LO and I went to SARCAN and got $5 for our bottles and cans. I sold red rhubarb for $5 this morning and have another lady coming at 4pm today.

One of the way save is with my debit card. Every time I use it it transfers 50 cents to my savings account. by the end of the month I end up saving between $5-$10 additional dollars. I bring my own lunch to work. Also the coffee machine at work is only 50 cents so I save on that also. It is much cheaper than starbucks and even Tims.

I’m loving this thread - it’s neat to read what everyone is doing

I have a tendency to print a lot of things I find online - articles, recipes, etc. - because I like having a physical copy. But lately I’ve been resisting that because I’m realizing how much paper that wastes. Still need to print at times, but being more selective - so, I’m saving on computer paper - and ink.

Also, I sorted through a bunch of papers, correspondence, and documents today and put aside a pile of them that I can reuse because either they are only printed on one side or there’s enough blank space for me to use to print coupons

Saw a "Canada Day" hanging basket on sale at Home Depot for $4.99. Didn't buy it, but now I'm thinking I need a house warming present in a couple of weeks. If I buy it and "plump it up" for a couple of weeks, it will make a nice present that will last through the fall at their new home. Hope it's still there!

Poop! It was gone - which points out an old adage - if you see a deal - get it, before someone else does. Especially if you're travelling - you'll never get back there, probably!

We were invited to attend a grand opening of TS&M for lunch today because a friend works there, it was open to the public. They had about 6 different booths open with freshly BBQed food, baked beans, fresh watermellon, home made cookies, and a variety of cold drinks. So LO and I had free lunch.
