Normally I would have jumped on this but as Nestle are suing the Canadian government for not allowing them to buy BC water (they want to pay $2.50 per one million litres), I will have to pass on this one

I think the price is fair for the work of bottling and shipping water to the stores for sale. It's in our favour to get inexpensive water. We're really fortunate. Most likely if they charge the company, we won't see the money but will have to just pay more for water.

I vote for preserving our natural resources.....if we even have any left that haven't been sold off.....or given away.

I think we're getting the water for free really at the prices they sell those bottles to us.
I only wish it were a Canadian company but the people who really profit from the sale of this water is the bars and stores who sell the water at $1 or more per bottle. The best things in life...aren't things

That is the thing. This isn't a Canadian company that is making these profits and investing in Canada. It is a foreign company that is taking out resources, selling them back to us and others and making off with the profits elsewhere.
It would be less painful if it was a Canadian company and they gave a crap about the outcome.
And the whole 75 jobs... it would be far more than 75 jobs if it was a Canadian company because the company's profits would create more jobs when they spend the profits where they live, Canada. This way it does little for us and we have a government who seems determined sell us off to foreigners for a few jobs now.

Thanks ilovecoupons33 for posting. I live with bad well water, so bottled water is a daily part of our lives.

Nestle is paying the same price as other water bottling companies. Unless people.live where water quality is poor or have compromised immune systems, stop buying bottled water! I live in metro Vancouver and we have some of the best tap water in the world. In fact, most of the world.would be grateful to drink our tap water. Buy a refillable water bottle is my suggestion
So many coupons....so little time!

Our solution was to drink tap water and carry our own steel water bottles around.
