Hi all.
OK I am trying to make a t-shirt with a transfer on it. I have to flip the picute so that when I print onto the transfer paper is comes out backwards. I just don't know how to do it. I have Word 2007 (does that make sense?) at home and I have problems even trying to save a document it is so different from what I have at work. At work we where just upgraded to XP?? and I am still figuring that out, all though it is not to far from Word 2000 which is what we had.
So if anyone can help with either version that would be great. I have a few T's and other things I want to make if I can only get the pics flipped.
OH just for more information, I copied the with with a screen print, then pasted them into Paint and copied them from there into Word. I am not sure if maybe this is the problem.
Thanks.
I use to be so good with word, but I can't seem to keep up with the new stuff. I am starting to feel old. LOLThis thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by Scooter; Fri, Nov 28th, 2008 at 11:45 AM.

Which printer do you have ?
The easy way ?
You need to create the artwork in a format of T-shirt transfer.
see broderbund programs like Printmaster Platinum ($10.00 at London Drugs)
Usually The setting for reverse (t-shirt transfer) print will be found in your PRINTER'S application properties, once you click to print it.
You also pick the paper you are printing on at that time as well.
I will check the program 'open office' to see of they have this feature.

My recommendation:
Download the Gimp, an open-source (free) professional-quality image program similar in function to Photoshop. http://www.gimp.org/
Load your image into Gimp. [File -> Open--> and select your file]
At the top of the image window, select Image --> Transform --> Flip Horizontally or Flip Vertically. (flip as you need it to appear).
Again at the top of the image window, select File --> Save As --> and select where to save it to. You might want to add a number to the filename to keep the original.
Then you can print directly from Gimp (File --> Print from Gutenprint on my particular system).
When saving you can also select what file type to save it as, including .png or .jpg.
Gimp will be useful to you after you're finished this project for future jobs. There are also hundreds of Gimp tutorials to be found online similar to Photoshop.

Thanks for the info Scooter, but I can't print from home. The cable conector on the printer is too big for my new computer and I refuse to buy a new printer.
