And not from some left wing blog, of which there are hundreds that I had to slog through last night. They were all trumpeting the same story which they've been claiming since 2006.

Anisa, you need to understand that people on the internet lie. Sometimes they lie to further a political goal. This is the case here. If there was any truth to it Mulcair and Trudeau would beat the crap out of Harrper about it. They don't, and haven't. Because there's no truth to it. They already had their researcher guys check.

If it was true they absolutely would have pounded Harper. Both the Liberal and NDP camps have checked this out and know it's utterly false.

Otherwise they would be trumpeting it to the stars. Media would be making it a 24 hour a day story.

Racists and Xenophobes will class themselves as "old stock" / superior to modern day immigrants. People can call themselves 1st, 2nd, 3rd or whatever generation....at the end of the day, we all IMMIGRANTS period

When you label people you ultimately will peeve off those who do not see themselves in that category. Or you say to yourself , wait a minute who does he mean?

The PQ(in Quebec) are notorious idiots for their "pure laine" labeling of themselves. Meaning pure wool. As in , if you are not pure wool you are not a true Quebecer.

I know you love to pull out old quotes to try and justify what Harper does however this is not a game of "well he said it too". If the others said it they are idiots too. I can admit that, Harper supporters basically see him as never doing anything wrong. That's ok, you can defend him all you want. He peeved off a lot of people with that comment, basically anyone who is not white, male and rich is the interpretation many are taking from this.

I will call an NDP minority with the Bloc getting no seats the Cons maybe getting 5 in Quebec and the NDP orange wave continues here. Will Justin Trudeau lose his own seat, maybe .
