Yes. And you didn't post it as speculation, you presented it as fact. Not 'gee, I wonder if this is real?' You simply presented the link and quoted it as if it was a real link to the real Conservative Party. I'm assuming it was a mistake on your part, you simply didn't take the time to check it out before you passed it on. Now if I had done that and unknowingly presented something false about the Liberals or the NDP you're darned right I'd apologize for that if I learned it was false. I'd apologize in a heartbeat as I value my credibility. I guess you and I have a different outlook.

The reason has nothing to do with feminism - when a woman covers her head in the Catholic Church it symbolises her dignity and humility before God, not men.

It was a hoax site, created to draw attn to Cons issues named on the site, the donations section was linked to a legit Cons site. Actual Cons supporters donated to the cause through the hoax site. Take that for what you want.

It was a thinly veiled hoax, announced a day or two after the site was put up.
But you already knew that.

I know plenty of women of non-Christian religions who cover their heads in their place of worship for the same reasons..including Muslim and Jewish women. For them, it too is about faith and their personal relationship with their diety.

Some describe themselves as feminists and others do not.

No they did not, more lies, Anisa? The only thing they would ever be able to tell from that fake site is who had clicked their donation link. I was one of the ones who clicked that link. ME. To find out where the link went. That determined whether I contacted the media or whether I contacted both the media and the RCMP to report fraud. Do you think I was the only one who clicked that donation link to see who it led to?

I most assuredly did not know that when you posted the link. More lies? I had hoped you were basically honest but just not careful in what online junk you believed. But you are lying about things that happened right here in this thread and hoping (I guess) that nobody goes back and checks.

It was revealed as a hoax by huffpost a good 12 hours after I did my own work to debunk the site right here on this forum.

Don't try to rewrite history anisa, it's all in this thread. When you're in a hole, do stop digging.
