Went to Canadian Tire at lunch because I wanted to pick up the wax paper on for .59 (I like to wrap my BLSL chicken separately in the freezer bags so I can pull just what I need) so grabbed a few other things since I had a wad of CT paper money burning a hole in my pocket (I bought the CT $50 GC's for $42.50 at Foodland months ago so have been buying gas at CT with the 10x coupon(which ever one it is each week) So for no cash out of pocket, just $16.70 in CT money I bought: 2 bags of chips, 4 wax paper, 2 Glass cleaner, A campfire smores pack marked down to .99 from $5.99 (treat for kids) and a fall mum for my urn on my front porch (reg $9.99 on sale for $6.99) Happy with my little haul.
Great shopping FBM, your rock!!
Thanks! I have a huge shopping list this weekend (so many good sales!) but that little free spree helps!
Tonight is date night! I can't wait to see what wonderful dinner my honey creates. We were bad and had a glass of wine last night so won't drink too much tonight which is a good thing. I want to get up and head to RCSS early to PM without the tourists!
Groceries done hopefully for 2 weeks a girl can dream with the exeption being milk & bread (the same old song and dance haha). $213 spent but overall very happy with everything I did get which was all on sale or did not make it's way into the cart. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend
took my sister-in-law out to giant tiger /freshco today -I got a few good deals
-helped hubby stain the deck in natural colour not an easy task in the hot beaming sun -still need to do more on sat
Lilo, I was floored when I had to buy some knitting needles last year at Michaels. They were $9.00 so if you can get them for a buck, go for it. I have to be careful as I am allergic to metal so I usually use bamboo ones. Round needles, meaning it's one long needle with 2 ends are very handy too.
Camping this weekend. I wasn't too keen on it as we both still hurt and I'm finding because I've had to "be normal" the entire time because I was less hurt I get tired faster than he who got to rest and heal. In all honesty he's got more energy than I do these days.
Now that we are out I'm content and enjoying the fire.
I used an alternate email to use a free 14 day Internet access to Sirius xm o line to stream tunes through my phone.
I picked up a very nice office chair for my future craft room (his ex has to sept 30 to remove her shop stuff from our home ) off Facebook for $40

@jasperandchar : For Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic returns, you can reuse the old packaging, bags, boxes, etc. and put it in your nearest mailbox. I only go to the post office if it doesn't fit in a standard sized post box. Easy peasy returns!
Good Morning All,
At work and just waiting for our system to log in so I can get my day started.
A little disappointed we are trying to get rid of the furniture in the basement to make room for the new stuff I finally got an offer but on 1 item and it is pretty much insulting, I do have on a few items a note will accept ALL offers that note is not on this item I checked to make sure I did not post that in error. I had a $100 item I dropped to $90 then $80 and today I get an offer for $35. I am just hoping they do not leave me hanging all day now that I will not accept their offer. The group rules state you have to wait 12 hours before moving on so if they do not get back to me I will have to sit on this ALL day when I could be trying to move it out. I know I want it gone but asking $80 and offering $35 is too much of a gap for me.
Good morning! Happy Caturday!
Today should be our last very hot day, so that's a good thing. It's yucky with the smoke coming from WA - though it must be much worse west of here.
Made my master shopping list for the week - we don't need much, just some additions, so that's a good thing.
Household stuff today, so nothing exciting. Hopefully there will at least be a cat fight, lol!
awww... so cute, but I'm not a fan of the flat-face. Love me some pointy cat nose!

Aw!!! I am the flat faced fan so I know you posted for me. Spending my first moments in a month kid free at Service ON, everything due: licence, health card, plates. Hopefully I get thru the line before baby fusses at home.
Off to a frugal start this morning-so far got a free car wash at the gas station behind my house, saved $50 in gas by ordering $500 in Esso gift cards through shop.ca( see forum) and just ordered a PC MC(ratesupermarket.ca) which will give me $50 in free groceries. So I have saved/made over $100 by 9 a.m.
