So I recently stumbled upon a new site called Skipthedishes. Groupon was offering $20 worth of delivery for $10. We don't order out very often, but when we do, we like to try new places and I hate ordering over the phone.
Skipthedishes hires outside couriers to deliver orders from those small restaurants that normally don't offer delivery on their own. We've ordered a few times now and been really happy every time with our orders.
Unlike their competitors here in our area (justeat.ca) they actually have GPS tracking. So you can check and see exactly where your order is at all times. (The first time we ordered it was kind of funny to see the driver miss our house completely and have to backtrack a few blocks, but we didn't tease him!)
They have awesome customer service, with live chat agents and it's great to be able to do everything online.

For a family on a budget, it really is great. After we bought our house, we thought we wouldn't be able to afford take out. It just wasn't high on our list of priorities.
It is so great being able to earn these credits and save them for special occasions. One of the things I hate worst about entertaining is never knowing if I'm going to have enough food for everyone.
My husband has jumped on the bandwagon as well, he has a Star Wars blog and he tweets every Friday night right before bed and we'll usually get one or two hits from that.
