I watched the first video of this homeless guy playing on a street piano and thought like everyone else " man! he's pretty good ! "
And as sometimes happens it revealed many layers of life's stories beneath the man Donald Gould.

I hope getting himself into rehab will give him some life skills and will open up opportunities so that he can feel confident if his son ever does find it in his heart to meet face to face.

    Here's one for you...

Close your eyes, or read the article as you listen to him sing...Try and listen and see if you can tell the difference between him and the original by Bob Segar...

Talent does not take account of the clothes you wear or the financial situation that you have. If you are really talented at some point you will have the chance to be noticed and appreciated at your real value. It’s also the case of this singer whose voice qualified in one of the biggest talent contests in Mexico, “Mexico Tiene Talento 2014 ‘, where he masterly played a rock’n’roll piece. Pablo López Morales is a homeless man who lives on the streets of Mexico City for over 8 years. Although his appearance on the stage of the competition does not announce a special moment, as soon as he began to interpret the song “Old Time Rock and Roll” by Bob Seger, Pablo attracted the attention of both jury and the audience on the set with his strong and unmistakable voice .
Those low registers are not a problem for the well controlled voice of Pablo. The intensity and the ease with which he sang impressed the jury to tears, and the audience applauded him at open stage.
“Paul, I have no words, you touched me deeply and when I see such an artistic moment I must say that I have no words, I thank you that you are here,” said Ximena Sariñana through tears.
Pablo López Morales, aged 43 is known in his country as “Talento del Metro” (subway talent), because he sings to people from passion for music but also to be able to ensure his existence and daily living.
