Thank you .... it is interesting how different the backpacks will be now that I use coupons...it was so expensive to put together last year before I did couponing we could not afford to put in any toiletries....

What a great project! I am not sure what I can do this year, but I am going to print off the list of the items you need and keep it with my stockpile shelf. This way, throughout the year, perhaps I can help collect some of the items!

Can you pick stuff up in the west end? With winter I don't need the shaving cream we have (I put it in the kids water table outside in the summer). If I can get to the store next week I can pickup some socks to donate - I know of a clearance store that usually had decent deals on them.

Okay. The store that has the socks (I hope- they usually do) is Biancas Amores liquidation centre and I'm not going on a weekend, it's kind of nuts there. I can go Tuesday sans kids, so if you can pickup after then then that would be best for me.

Do you do any for woman as well or just men?

I have both women and men ... BTW thanks Regwod message me....
I am currently making baskets for the womens shelter to be done within the next 10 days .... I currently have 10 sets of Dove Go Fresh and want to make up basketbags with some other items for women
The mens homeless project is always on for me as they have the the hardest and most required items needed
it seems womens shelters do get a fair bit because a lot of women are the people who do the dontaing.
Feel free to PM me to connect for questions
Photos of the delivery from last year will come soonLast edited by Rika; Sat, Nov 5th, 2011 at 06:20 PM.

Would Dollarama socks etc be ok? I am hoping to be out and about and recovered from my pneumonia by next week. Hooray for antibiotics!
Men are very hard hit I think. Women get a lot more compassion from people so I am glad you are helping both out Rika!
