"Many won't accept food from the red cross because it has the cross on it."
Apparently, this is not true. I was listening to a news report overnight from DW Radio in Germany, with reporters from Serbia, Croatia, and Hungary - and they were still commenting on this...

One thing is missing from this poll....who is it exactly that they asked i.e. polled for this? When they say "Canadians", did it include visible minorities or did the pollers cut corners ? This is utter rubbish because I am personally not opposed to it, and I know a lot of people that aren't either. The main people "opposed" to this, is the usual suspects with xenophobic traits

WOW!
I am way more 'scared' of Syrian passport than Syrian Refugee! Can you believe that if a passport can survive bomb blast & other who-knows-what pressure then wonder what it can it do to humans?
The Canadian government's Syrian refugee plan will bring in women, children and families only, CBC News has learned. To deal with ongoing security concerns, unaccompanied men will not be part of the program.
