Hobbies

In my younger days it was sports. Outdoor activities, cycling, baseball, hockey. I've crocheted/sewed since I was a teen, and that has been a constant but once I became a Mom I expanded my craft related interests to plastic canvas, embroidery/needlepoint, cross stitch. I will include kitchen " hobbies " as I had/have an obsession with new recipes and love to experiment, however much of it was not for nutritional requirements ( treats!! ) My renewed interest in canning/preserves has returned but on a smaller scale now than when the kids were very young. Is tv a hobby?? o.k. I love binge watching a good series if it is!

Holy smokes I forgot Halloween. I think you can call it a hobby/obsession since we have been doing it for over 30 years now.

Hi Saundyl! How's everything up there in the far north!
I am moving again and hope to have a room organized so that I can sew and quilt and maybe do some candlewicking. I have lots and lots of family photos to go through and perhaps do some scrapbooking.

Going good here! too cold and i wish i had way more time for fun stuff than work.

Oh a craft room! its so nice to have a space just for that and not to have to hide everything away at supper time!

Pyrography, yes is woodburning. I do it more in the summer now because i can do it on the deck and not stink up our house.

My other hobby is stamp collecting. Ive been at it since i was 9 years old; i am now 70. But lately ive started selling of collection. None of the kids or grandkids are interested. So it must go.
