I was sure I would get a different email confirmation as I almost never do anything SDM related, but I updated, used the promo code 1998 and still got the " zero Optimum points will be awarded by.........

What? They sent YOU a confirmation of zero points? I bet you haven't used these account update promos for atleast 2 yrs. You should get these pts. Keep an eye on your account near the 19th of October. May be some of us who got zero points confirmation will still get some pts. :icon_scratch:

Update....so I just called them up and had the points added. This was based on advice given to me by someone who received the same email we are all getting.

I just tried to add the promo code and it said oops something went wrong. Not working now :(

@walkonby you should call. It's definitely worth a try for you. If i am not wrong, you are still sitting on 3000 pts or so, you should get there free 4000 pts. Makes you closer to redemption level. ;)

I did this last year and they gave me 3000 points! and this time they offer 4000 points lol :top:

FYI...when you write to them and inquire about the email with zero points, here's the reply you get....

Thank you for writing to us. Upon review of your account, we can confirm that you made the correct update for this promotion. Although the email says 0 points will be added, we will have to wait until October 19th, 2015 to investigate. Please check your account after that date for the points to show, if they do not please contact us at your earliest convenience.
