Sad news: Avon's dog passed away today....

Hello....I received a phone call from Avon today: her dear little Maxx passed away today. I wish I could have provided her with more comfort, but as anyone who's lost a beloved pet knows, only time can heal a heart-break like this. Her other pup, Jesse, had surgery yesterday, and is doing fine, although protesting his "cone of shame"...

Avon, my Dear Friend...my heart breaks for your loss, also....Maxx is now romping, full of vibrant health, waiting for you to meet him again one day: energy cannot be created nor destroyed....you two will meet again.

Love you, my Friend and I wish I could be with you through this very sad time....

Am so so very sorry to hear of your loss Avon. We all wish we could lessen your grief.

There's nothing to say when your pain is still fresh except you both gave your best to each other. Our fur-babies are a gift with a mighty sting (when death takes them from us), but Maxx is at least in peace and lived a life full of your love. That's all he would ever have wanted.

I hope you find comfort in your good memories and the warmth of your friends during such a rough time my dear.

oh Avon, so sorry to hear about Maxx passing. As Lynn said it will take time before the hurt will go away. I get so choked up about any of us losing our pets. I'll keep you in my thoughts today.

Thank-you so very much, everything you have said means a lot to me! The poems are beautiful! And the Schnauzer could be MAX himself!

Jesse, our poodle is sitting, cone and all, on my lap. I have some concerns about the stitches on his neck, as the cone is rubbing on the stitches. Poor little guy has not figured out how wide he is now.

It is good to have him here, for sure.
