Nice Job, I was always glad I could sew, especially at Halloween, my kids had very specific ideas on what the wanted to be!You did a beautiful job!!! SC Granger will want you to make her one now!!
she does love her Harry potter... i got the patches, tie, and time turner off ebay (i just can't make those) then made the robe, the under dress is an actual British school uniform that her auntie sent her from London and I've even put in a wand pocket to the robe, afterall you gotta put the wand somewhere! (we went down to the waterfront and found driftwood sticks so she can have a wand too)... i also made a robe for her friend who's absolutely obsessed with Harry potter.. so he can be Harry to her Hermione
the trouble with knowing how to sew...when it comes to halloween costumes...each year you try to outdo the year before (well that... and you do get conned into doing the occasional costumes for other people.. especially costumes you can't buy.. this year i did the second potter robe, and a "star vrs forces of evil" character dress along with my petal skirt and additional red tulle to the petticoat.. i think i'm on sewing strike now lol)
