Wonder how pet lovers will react to this, if it was their kid that was killed over a pet...would you want an eye for an eye?

An 11-year-old Tennessee boy intentionally shot and killed an 8-year-old girl, police said, and witnesses say it was because the girl wouldn't let him see her puppy.

I think this is a tragic death caused by a mentally disturbed child whose parents didn't have the sense not to have a gun in the home. I think the puppy is secondary.

I also feel that this would have happened regardless of a gun being available. He most likely would have hit her with a rock or shovel.

Try telling that to those that love guns and think it makes them...."big and bad" e.g. hunters from the country, gangsters, etc
